Television series Desperate Housewives was a huge success, character of Susan Mayer was hugely popular and gave Teri Hatcher back to stardom, otherwise, she would now be probably  forgotten. Such a witty character was written thinking on Courteney Cox who had worked so well on legendary sitcom  Friends. However, Courteney Cox declined the leading role of Desperate Housewives because she was focused on her family.
